Tech start-up AlphaCert Labs sparks global interest

Innovative InvestTech start-up company AlphaCert Labs, is sparking global interest following the launch of their revolutionary new data management platform AlphaCert. AustralianSuper, Australia’s largest superannuation fund has worked with AlphaCert to transform their data management systems and deliver more value to members.

This is a significant milestone for the innovative start-up as it gears up for global expansion. Founded by savvy tech entrepreneurs Phil Pietersen and Bain Hollister, the AlphaCert platform was developed in response to growing frustrations around the complex data management challenges facing the investment management industry.

Phil Pietersen, CEO of AlphaCert Labs, says his team is thrilled to work alongside AustralianSuper to help meet their unique data management requirements. “We value the trusted partnership we’ve developed with AustralianSuper,” says Phil. “Working closely with their highly skilled Data Management team means we can further customise the platform to help them achieve their vision of success.”

Developed by world-leading software thinkers and engineers, AlphaCert is a purpose built, customisable enterprise data management platform, which provides firms like AustralianSuper with advanced analytics and powerful integration with specialist investment management 3rd party solutions. It provides a single source of truth for investment managers to enable faster and more accurate decision making.

“The AlphaCert platform enables financial analysts to dedicate their time to what they do best: add value to investment portfolios, aided by the swift delivery of intelligent and up-to-the-minute data,” says Phil. “This results in more rewarding work for financial analysts and means investment firms can focus on driving greater returns to their members, which is their ultimate goal.”

Phil believes AlphaCert’s people are their greatest asset and credits the team for their success to date, “We’re fortunate to have created a high performing team of IT specialists who have diverse skills and a wealth of industry knowledge.”

Phil says attracting top talent will remain a key focus for AlphaCert as more iconic investment organisations like AustralianSuper seek proven technologies to drive greater business efficiencies. “We’ve had a phenomenal level of interest from large investment companies around the world,” says Phil. “The opportunities are endless, and we’re focused on building a global team who can continue to customise AlphaCert to suit the specific needs of our customers.”
