AlphaCert is pleased to welcome Daniel McCarthy on board as Executive General Manager, to support continued growth and expansion into new and existing markets.
With 30 years of advisory and operational experience across many industries and regions, McCarthy comes to AlphaCert from Mobile Mentor, where as CEO he led the growth of the business into the US market.
As a natural leader with considerable international experience, McCarthy is well-placed to build and lead teams with a focus on personal learning, change and growth.
One of the driving factors behind McCarthy’s decision to join AlphaCert was the people he met in the process, noting how passionate the team are about the business and its customers.
“The team are smart, driven and dynamic – great ingredients for a growth journey,” says McCarthy.
His motivation behind joining the team also considered the incredible potential of the product.
“The second thing that attracted me to AlphaCert was the opportunity,” says McCarthy.
“The product is amazing; it’s been developed working with customers over the past 10 years and has great potential to revolutionise the investment management industry, which will positively impact people’s wealth, pensions and savings by applying the latest innovation in data automation.”
McCarthy brings to the role a mixture of both international experience, having worked in many countries and regions, and leadership experience, having been involved with smaller businesses looking to grow internationally.
“I bring the passion for a product that I believe can really change how investment managers manage, secure and get value out of investment data,” says McCarthy.
Since joining, McCarthy is already making an impact, working closely with the AlphaCert Senior leadership to identify further opportunities to accelerate growth.
“The appointment of Daniel into the EGM role is a significant milestone in AlphaCert’s journey,” says AlphaCert CEO Phil Pietersen.
McCarthy’s addition to the team ensures that everyone feels well supported, with a busy year and a number of exciting opportunities ahead.
